Bishop the Consigliere
Born Lawrence Levy on July 4th, 1977, in Jackson, Missssippi, the drummer (taught by his father) no longer wanted to play he wanted to create. This desire to create has birth the producer Bishop the Consigliere.
Starting young he organized the Platinum International production company that became the launch for this his networks that made his career as a producer possible.
Bishop (no religious significances – “bishop” is defined as the “keeper”) the “Consigliere” spelled correctly is defined as “trusted friend and confidant”. Bishop the Consigliere is the keeper and trusted friend.
Bishop is known for his unique blend of soul, rhythm-and-blues and funk style as songwriter, producer, and instrumentalist. He said “I must walk with the mind of confidence; see with the vision of hope. Hear with the ear of transparency and grow with the fruit of wisdom.” - profound! That is not the words of a tormented music producer. That's evidence of an intoxicating and rhythmic expression - cleaver described as the first solo instrumental project “Tequila Soul”.
